Roofin 2K Waterproofing Slurry Compound

Roofs 2K, an innovative elastomeric fibre reinforced cementitious waterproof slurry compound, is formulated by us after thorough research and field testing. The fibre components in Roofin 2K yield extra strong water proof coating. Roofin 2K acts like a shield and thereby reducing the chance of Leakage and lasts long. Roof's 2K is a mixture of high grade acrylic resin and specially graded and selected additives and fibres for reinorcement. It dries by evaporation to yield a tough, abrasion resistive and water repellent surface.

Areas of Application  

It can be applied on concrete, brick and blockwork substrates and is equally suitable for new and existing structures. The product is designed to reface and even out variations in concrete and masonry surfaces. It provides a seamless, waterproof coating suitable for water tanks, bathrooms, basements and roofs and suitable for water retaining structures The product provides a tough durable water resistant coating .. 

Method of Application 

SURFACE PREPARATION

Surface Preparation: On Concrete Roof or ordinary walls, surface must be free from dust, loose material, paint, oil, or any material which may impair adhesion. Mechanical means such as wire brushing can be used. Finally vacuum cleaning of all loose solids and liquids can be done if required. Apply two coats of Roofin 2K after proper mixing and dilution with water (if required) by thick brush at an interval of 2-3 hours between each coat. Allow the coated surface to air cure for 3 days 

Precautions & Limitations

All corners, gaps, joints, protrusions & outlets shall be coated with two extra coats. Do not apply during rains; substrate must be in SSD condition for application of first coat. The product is designed only for foot traffic and not vehicular or movement of machinery or equipment. Do not apply Roofin 2K over expansion or moving joints Never Over dilute Roofin 2K with water for ease of application

Skin Contact: Wash skin with soap & water. remove contaminated clothes. On eye contact: immediately splash eyes with plenty of water. Consult Physician if irritation persists. Ingestion: not induce vomiting. never give anything by mouth to an unconscious person. Call a Physician.
