RVPD consists of a horizontal cylindrical jacketed/ limpeted vessel with a central hollow shaft, heated/non-heated having blades which churn the material as well as sweep the surfaces. Vacuum is applied and drying takes place in a closed loop system with dust filter, condenser, receiver and vacuum pump. Smaller capacities in cantilever shaft construction suitable for easier cleaning required for pharma application also available.
