Inconel Pipes is an austenitic nickel-chromium-based alloy that is oxidation and corrosion resistant well suited to work in extreme environments of pressure and heat. When heated they forms a thick, stable, passivating oxide layer protecting the surface from further attack. Inconel pipes high temperature strength is developed by solid solution strengthening or precipitation hardening.
Inconel 601 Pipes are available at random lengths of upto 6 meter long or 20 feet long in Seamless / Welded / ERW. Inconel Alloy 601 is nickel chromium heat resisting alloy which works outstanding at temperatures up to about 1200°C. It has good aqueous corrosion resistance due to the high nickel, chromium content, good resistance to carburising & nitriding. Inconel 601 has good strength, toughness, ductility and can be used at cryogenic temperatures. It can be sensitised to inter granular corrosion in some aggressive media after heating in the temperature range 540 – 760°C.
