Rubber Backup Ring

Rubber backup rings prevent migration of O-Rings into the sealing gap when subjected to high pressures. Rubber backup rings are intended to use in both dynamic and static applications. Elevated temperatures impose a severe burden on the physical and mechanical properties of rubber O-Rings which further increases their tendency to extrude.Continuous construction prevents damage/extrude to the O-Ring seal.
