Diamond Tool & Mold does a healthy amount of rubber mold manufacturing for its business. Consequently, we know what we're talking about when we say we can take materials as diverse as tool steel, pre-hardened mold steel, and stainless steel, and convert them into components such as core and cavity molds, in addition to holding plates and core pins. Through precise application of such processes as milling, turning, grinding, sinker EDM, fitting, heat treatment, plating, coating, and welding, we can configure components with maximum lengths of 60" and maximum widths of 30". Our 3D machining capabilities allow for .0005" and .0002" machining and grinding tolerances, respectively. All of our capabilities amount to impressive end results: the generation of compression, transfer, and liner rubber mold types that meet the highest expectations our customers have.
From prototype to lean production, we serve industries as widespread as automotive, appliance, aerospace, medical, industrial, construction, and agricultural. We can create cavities numbering anywhere between 1 and 150 for rubber or metal-bonded seals. We also have the ability to repair rubber molds that our customers bring to us. Any certification that's required, we'll ably meet, whether the product desired is a prototype or production. .
