From setting up the first textile mill in Ahemdabad to purchasing a mill in neighbouring Nadiad, our founder, Mr. Mafatlal Gagalbhai has built a foundation on passion, commitment and service. After establishing base in Surat, Mr. Mafatlal Gagalbhai moved to Mumbai in 1919. Since then there has been no looking back for the pioneering textile Company.
Under the leadership of Mr. Arvind Mafatlal, the existing business was consolidated and witnessed diversification into various verticals. However, over the years, the focus has remained on our core competence viz. Textiles and Chemicals.
Today, Chairman Mr. Hrishikesh Mafatlal, provides the strategic vision for the Company, as it strides ahead with ambitious and innovate plans for the future.

We shall continue our endeavours to develop new products and markets, especially for exports.
We shall develop our information system to regular feed back on product quality performance, and acceptance from our external customers to prepare ourselves to meet the future requirements.

The Arvind Mafatlal Group took over MIINDIA Chemicals in 1976, and, in the years to follow, turned it around totally. In fact, the company has been the largest manufacturer of rubber chemicals in India for more than two decades. Today, NOCIL’s customer profile spans the global market as well.
