Application :
To Remove outer cover of castor pods and separate castor seeds and it covers by gentle shelling action without damaging castor beans. Covers will be blown away by powerful blower and castor seeds will be collected.

OPERATION:
As the plucked/cut castor pods as shown in photo –INPUT CASTOR PODS will be fed in the threshing chamber from specially designed feeding hopper only for castor pods. Shelling Flats mounted inside threshing chamber applies gentle pressure and push castor pods against concave cutter made from polish bars results in to a breaking of seed cover and brings castor seeds out. Both castor seeds and covers moves towards to reciprocating sieve chamber and while approaching to the sieves as cover are lighter in weight, they will be sucked by power full blowers and thrown away. Fulley shelled castor seeds and semi shelled castor seeds falls on the sieve. Completely Shelled seeds passes from the sieves for further cleaning and semi shelled seeds cannot pass from the sieves due to bigger size and will be collected on the back side of reciprocating sieve chamber. Semi shelled seeds needs to be re fed for proper and complete threshing.

Construction:
Body of very heavy gauge welded steel plates with the following features

Drum: Rasp bars made from hardened EN-8 material for longer life

CONCAVE: Made from polish square steel bars for better threshing without damaging seeds.

Aspiration: Precisely adjustable air flow with high performance fan.

Undercarriage:Two large 6.00 X 16 tyres on a single axle made from 40 mm square bar ensures easy movement on road and field. Also jacks are provided in the front to adjust towing height for tractor towing.
