Sand Separators

Our sand traps operate vertically and their basic use is for separating sand from the flow. As the flow enters the sand trap, it is slowed as it hits the diverter plate, which changes its direction at a sharp 90 degree angle. This allows the sand to separate from the gas and liquids. The sand will then fall to the bottom of our separator where it is held in place by different baffles before being emptied and sent down the line to our gas buster. The baffles will not only hold the sand at the bottom of the tank, but will also allow gas and liquids to move up and out while keeping the sand separate.
