The Viking Satcom HD Satellite Meter is a digital DVB-S DVB-S2 measuring device for quick and easy alignment of satellite antennas. When a satellite is found, the HD METER shows it on the display and emits an audible signal. Signal strength and quality are displayed as numerical values and bar graphs. Measurements displayed include the forward error correction (FEC1), the carrier to noise ratio (CN), the bit error rate after Viterbi (VBER), and the modulation error rate (MER2). In addition, the picture quality can be revised on the high resolution 3.5 in. TFTLCD screen.
