The conveyor housing is constructed from mild steel, stainless steel (SS304/SS316), or abrasion-resistant steel based on material compatibility. It features two or more helical screw shafts rotating within a common trough or tubular housing. The screws can rotate in the same or opposite direction to achieve conveying or mixing effects. Screw diameter typically ranges from 100 mm to 500 mm, and conveyor lengths can be customized up to 15 meters or more. The drive system includes geared motors with chain or gear coupling for synchronized rotation. Optional variable frequency drives (VFDs) allow speed adjustments. The system may include jacketed sections for heating/cooling, inlet hoppers, multiple discharge outlets, and cleaning ports. Bearings are externally mounted and sealed to avoid contamination.
