The screw conveyor is a kind of conveying equipment, which is widely used in construction, feed , mineral products, grain and oil industry. It is made up of the rolled steel. The screw conveyor could be used for transporting powder and solid particle with high temperature n chemical industry. The screw conveyor has two types including shaft screw conveyor and shaftless screw conveyor according to the transporting mode. The shaft screw conveyor is suitable for non-viscous dry materials and small particle materials such as cement, coal ash, lime and grain. The shaftless screw conveyor is suitable for sticky and voluble materials such as sludge, biomass, and rubbish.
There are three main structures of screw conveyor: the body of screw conveyor, feeding hole and discharge hole, actuating device. The body of screw conveyor consists of head bearing, rear bearing, hanger bearing, screw, enclosure, cover board, foundation and etc. The actuating device includes motor, reducer, coupling and base.
