Seamless Pipes

Unisteel International supply carbon and alloy seamless pipes and tubes from various international specifications and origins.
Seamless pipes are shaped by rolling a preheated billet between offset roll to crate a tube shell.The tube shell is then elongated in a multi-stand rolling mill (with a mandrel) to achieve the desired wall thickness and a limited range of diameters. The seamless pipe is then finished to dimensional and wall thickness specifications in sizes from 18 inches to 26 inch OD. At high rolling speeds pressures, the arrangement creates stress in the center, that facilitates its piercing with a pointed bar or plug, to generate a tube shell.
