Sectionalizers

Electronic sectionalizers are designed to coordinate with upstream medium voltage distribution network. Main function of a Sectionalzier is to isolate the faulty section of the line. The use of electronic sectionalizers in branches and service connections, instead of a fused sectionalizer, allows better coordination in the event of faults. This results in a decrease in both operating costs and the number of power outages. During tripping all three phases are operated by a single shaft mechanism for synchronized three-phase isolation, ensuring maximum safety.
