Seedlac

Sticklac (raw material) is first crushed and passed through a sieve or other straining device to separate out coarser elements and remove sand or dust. It is then washed in large vessels called as �WASHERS� again and again and at the same time rubbing the lac against the sides of the Vessels to break open the insect bodies and dissolve the colouring matter in water. The lac thus cleaned is spread on large, clean, open air floor to dry. After drying, it is winnowed and sieved to get the commercial variety of Seedlac. We use the finest process for synthesizing seed lac. It contains around 3-5% impurity. The company is engaged in offering bulk quantities of Seedlac. Grades of Seedlac :

• SSF Ordinary/genuine bysakhi seedlac.
• SSF Golden bysakhi seedlac.
• SSF Golden kusmi seedlac.
• SSF Kusmi seedlac.
• SSF Fine Bysakhi seedlac.

Application :
Seedlac is used for manufacturing shellac, bleached lac, dewaxed shellac flakes, aleuritic acid and value added lac products. Seedlac is further refined by bleaching and wax removal to produce the white-shellac sometimes still sold in paint stores.
