>> These capacities of pumps given in the table are calculated and based and on a vertical lift of suction of 1 M and a vertical delivery of 1 M with full stroke at the rate stated.
>> A foot valve should be fitted when suction lift is more than 2 M.
>> In case the liquid is to be forced more than 4 M above the pumps, vertical check valve on the delivery pipe is desirable.
