We are offering sewage treatment plant with mbbr technology.
the mbbr (moving bed bio reactor) technology allows the bacterial colonies to grow adhered to a surface, thus generating a bio – film. The microorganisms that grow under these conditions are more resistant to the process alterations than in other biological treatment types.
the microorganisms grow on plastic supports designed so that they have a high internal surface. These plastic supports are suspended and evenly distributed in the liquid phase. This kind of reactors can operate with very high loads in order to treat both industrial and civil effluents in reduced spaces; the amount of adhered activated sludge is higher, therefore the purification capacity is higher: 1 m3 of a typical packing gives from 350 to 500 m2 of surface, and there are 12 g of biomass per m2, thus here are 6 kg of biomass per m3.
the mbbr technology can be used in order to enhance existing activated sludge treatment plants, where the amount of pollutants (determined by the cod and bod concentration) is the substrate for the growth of the microorganisms on the bio – film, which degrade the pollutants and therefore purify the water.
