SFM Metal Disk Coupling

This is a metal disk coupling which was developed for use on the spindles of machine tools. It meets precision and high-speed requirements. To ensure that it can be installed accurately, not only the flange but also the pressurizing flange has a centering mechanism. Also, in order to reduce whistling noise at high speed, the outer periphery of the metal disk is covered by the flange which is shaped in such a way that surface irregularities are reduced. Available types are an ultra-high rigidity single element type and a flexible double element consisting of two elements joined together via a spacer.
