Shea butter

The Sheabutter tree grows in the Savanna areas of Northern Ghana. Sheabutter is processed from the fruit of the Shea butter tree. The Northern part of Ghana is very hot and dry most of the year. For decades women from that area of Ghana have used sheabutter to cover their bodies to protect their skin from the ravages of excessive heat of the sun. Sheabutter keeps the skin moist, supple and free of wrinkles. They protect the skin from the elements.
