The Waukesha Shear Pump's wide choice of modularly interchangeable stators and rotors makes It a most versatile and compact processing system component for binding, mixing, emulsifying, texturizing and smoothing... with no aeration. Its operation involves mechanical, ultrasonic,hydraulic and controlled cavitation , phenomena, The product's rate of flow through a controllable stator-rotor arrangement, plus the variable RPM of the Shear Pump, determines the ulti- mate effect of the Shear Pump on the product. For processing high viscosity material, the Shear Pump is fed with positive pressure using a Waukesha positive displacement pump.Â
