Details

Multimax is a single pass, smoke tube, boiler that can fire different types of fuels like coal, husk, bagasse and wood. It is designed to provide low cost heating using agro based fuels. The firing system can be modified for burning multi-type fuels. The horizontal stationary grate is used for firing fuels like coal, wood and bagasse bales, whereas loose fuels like bagasse, husk and other agro wastes, are either fired on inclined grate or pneumatically, spread on a fixed grate. The furnace is also external to the boiler to enable combustion of high moisture agro-fuels like bagasse.
