to satisfy the increasing needs of industrial pressing, we have created a special shirt finisher which achieves top-quality results. Besides the functions of normal finishers with pneumatic sleeve tensioning, this model which is unique in its kind, is equipped with a carriage which searches the lower edge of shirts and stops as soon as it reaches it, by means of a photocell; then the aspiration phase begins, to tighten the shirt to the bust, enabling the user to position it correctly. The machine can be delivered with standard sleeve clamps, with photocell-controlled closing.
they are also available with two joysticks and relevant air cylinders for clamp height adjustment, allowing to remove any crease from the sleeves during the finishing program. Furthermore, double sleeve clamps are available, to tension short or long sleeves; they reach the required position automatically when a selecting switch is touched. The joysticks enable immediate adjustments, necessary to achieve a superior quality. Once the front part is held by the blade, further device hold the rest of the shirt and tension it on its sides. At the beginning of the finishing process the carriage goes down, dragging the shirt and stretching the side seams. All the holding and tensioning operations are pneumatically adjustable according to the fabric quality. By means of the 482 computer, the steam, steam+air, hot and cold air times are set, according to the material conditions (wet or dry) and its quality.
nine ironing program can be set and stored in the computer according to users different requirements. In case manual mode is chosen, further steam or air can be added at the end of the cycle. Moreover, the piece counter on the control panel enables the operator to evaluate the daily work. At the end of the finishing cycle machine resets and releases the garment, which can be easily removed from the machine in automatic or manual code. In the case of dry shirts (clothing industry), the operator can also run a second machine as soon as the first shirt is positioned; in the case of wet shirts. He can operate a collar and cuff press and touch up the breast pocket or carry out folding operations. Model 485 can only finish wet shirts by means of electric heating.
