Shuttle Conveyor

Shuttle Conveyor is self propelled type. The whole conveyor & its support is mounted on wheels which can move to and fro to certain distance on a pair of rails. This conveyor is used where the conveyed material is required to be discharged at number of points but one after another, because it can be affected only at a time.

Depending upon the overall length of the conveyor and its structure, quantum of load that the conveyor carries there may be a one / two / three sets of driving wheels which are driven by electric motor and gear box. Shuttle conveyor will be required to fill different bunker; to feed different conveyors; to divert the material from one part to another part of the plant.
