SilicoFix-M10 Masonary Mortar, Packaging Type : Plastic Bag

SILICOFIX-MM10 is a performance enhanced normal “thick joint” masonry mortar for bonding various masonry materials like Concrete Blocks, AAC Blocks and Red Clay bricks in thicknesses varying on around 10mm. It is modified to ensure sufficient workability and open time and bond strength to effectively bond various building materials.

SILICOfix MM10 is manufactured by M/s. Precise Conchem Pvt. Ltd., at their plant located at GIDC Panoli, Bharuch District of Gujarat in an automated process according to formulations based on various products studies and research undertaken. The plant is one of the most modern Plants in India, in which all the critical manufacturing processes and operations are completely controlled by P.L.C SYSTEMS (Programmed Logic Controller). The plant has the capacity to produce 25,000 bags @ 40 kg per bag of Polymerized Dry mix Mortar/Plaster per day. This plant can be remotely monitored through CCTVcameras installed within the plant area. Method of Application:

Clean surface of the block or brick before application so that the surface is free from dust, loose particles which mayaffect the adhesion of SILICOfix. The block or bricks must be saturated well with water before application of SILICOfix MM10 Block Jointing Mortar. Take 8 liters to 9 liters of potable water depending upon the thickness of the joints to be built-up for one full bag of 40kg SILICOfix MM10 powder. Pour the minimum required quantity of water in a mixing tray of suitable size. Add half the takenquantity of SILICOfix MM10 in the first instant and immediately start mixing. If you delay you will get lumps that you will struggle tomix out. Add the remaining quantity of SILICOfix quickly, but gradually and again start mixing thoroughly until a smooth, creamy, lump-free homogeneous and cohesive consistency mixture of SILICOfix MM10 is achieved. For proper activation ofadditives/polymers in SILICOfix MM10, allow the mixture to stand/rest without disturbing for 2 minutes. Remix for a minute. Ifnecessary make it up with addition of little extra quantity of water to achieve required consistency, remix once again fora minute. Now the SILICOfix MM10 mixture is ready for use/application. Do not add extra water to the mixture than prescribedabove, as addition of extra water will lead to loss of strength and create microscopic and /or visible pores. Using a proper notched trowel, apply a thin and uniform layer of SILICOfix Mortar in thickness of 10 mm in horizontaland vertical joints of the block and then place the block above it. Clean the excess flush material to clean the joint areasand reuse the same immediately. Continue laying the next block with the same procedure to complete the masonry wall.SILICOfix MM10 should be applied within 60 minutes to 90 minutes of its preparation.
