Silicon Cable are made from Tinned coated Copper conductor & coated with Special cable grade silicon rubber & Cured In C.V. Or Vulcaniser. Silicon Rubber Neoprene Polyurethane Rubber. Offers excellent resistance to steam & Aging. Has very good dia – electric constant (At 180) 1 mm dia. Can withstand 5 k. v. RMS for 1 Minute Offers very good resistance to moisture, & is self extinguishing. Silicon Rubber being soft material has to be provided Fiber Glass braiding strength, it is very soft & pliable over small radius.
