ss 7217, is silicone based grease contains solid lubricants.
Features
ss 7217 is non-toxic, non-oxidizing, water resistant and chemically inert grease. It exhibits excellent high and low temperature resistance and do not solidify or melt at extreme temperatures. It does not carbonize after decomposing at high temperature and also demonstrate excellent resistance to extreme weather conditions, chemicals such as mild acids and alkalis, alcohol etc.

applications
silicone grease ss 7217 find application in many areas such as lubrication of control cables, plastic, rubber, glass and metals surfaces in consumer electronics, sanitary, laboratory glassware, toys, cameras, microscopes, automobile components etc. mould release applications of plastics, rubber and metals. Weather proofing, corrosion protection, insulation and moisture barrier applications in electronics and electrical products such as switches, connectors, insulators and battery terminals. due to its non-toxic nature silicone greases are used to lubricate food and beverage processing equipment, drinking water taps, vending machines etc.

shelf life
ss 7217does not exhibit any significant changes in properties if stored properly in original packs for over two years. Slight hardening is considered normal and is reversible by agitation. However, warranty claims, in case of manufacturing defects is limited to one year from date of manufacturing.
