This meter is particularly devised for determining the velocities of the flowing water. In this, the current meter is hovered in water with a cable by using a wading rod and sinking weight. Then, with the help of multiple propellers (available in measuring range up to 6 meter per second), stream flow velocities are measured from 0.3 to 3.5 meters per second. One can also connect current meter with an automatic counter.
