Single Basket Strainer

Simplex Strainers sizes two third  to 8", constructed of cast iron, bronze, carbon steel or stainless steel - threaded or flanged connections.

Simplex strainers have been providing reliable service for over 75 years. Our model SC apart from the competition is it's thoughtful design. Oversized baskets provide a strainer area having more than 6 times the cross sectional pipe area.

No tools required for quick-opening cover. The swing yoke cover is designed for quick disassembly even when installed in dirty, difficult to access installations.

Each strainer has a threaded drain plug, enabling you to drain the cavity for inspection. Heavy wall thickness combined with precision machined basket seats formulate a rugged strainer body with a tight sealing basket chamber.

Each simplex strainer has its' own customizable datasheet, providing you with important specification information such as pressure drop, inlet velocity and screen velocity.
