Biotricklingfilter combines the advantages of biofilter and bioscrubber processes for purifying waste gas. Waste gas flows through a biomedia filter bed. An automatically controlled spraying nozzles system is installed above the biomedia filter bed in order to spray water with nutrients and minerals water onto the filter bed. The nutrient liquid ensures optimum biological process conditions for the microorganisms, which settle to the surface of the filter bed’s carrier material.
