Manufactured from quality components and supported by dedicated technicians, the Higher SL-800TS Automatic Platen can give you good, consistent die cutting productivity.
This machine is designed for converting small format material quickly and is ideal for both long and short production runs. It has been manufactured with the replacement of traditional hand fed and cylinder style platens in mind.
It is easily operated and will, with its impressive production speed, could produce a similar output to quite a few of the older style machines. Tooling can be converted from platen forms to fit on the 800TS and the machine is ideal for cold embossing.
Fast change overs aid high speed production. The Higher range of Automatic Platens brings together tooling, materials and data to deliver fast, accurate and consistent production.
The standard features of each section of the machine are :
Feeder
Stream fed top feed suction unit with a Max speed of 7200 Sheets per hour;
Angle and height of suckers can be adjusted according paper conditions, ensuring high speed and smooth feeding of papers, no matter cardboard paper or corrugated paper.
Pre-loading and secondary hoist system to allow continual running during pile changes.
Feeding table can be adjusted at transverse directions, accept standard pallet direct from printers.
Both pull and push side lays on both the near and off side of the machine, push and pull function can be changed quickly, reducing make-ready time.
2 sets of anti-crash inspection sensor, effectively avoid the cash of protect feeder and feeding table.
Adjustable air blow enabling efficient sheet separation on the full range of raw materials.
Side lays fitted with electronic detection to prevent registration errors of badly position sheets.
Double-sheet detection device fitted on the lay board.
High specification German SAMPLA feeder belts for maximum stability during sheet transfer.
Speed reduction device to slow the speed of the paper arriving at front lays, thus reducing rebound when paper reaches the lays. This allows thin material to be die cut efficiently and precisely with minimal stoppages.

5mm thick hardened steel plate combined with a 2mm hard or soft plate facility to allow matrix or embossing forces to be saved on regularly run products.
High specification, heat treated steel drive worm and bronze wheel main drive. Toggle action die cutting movement.
Pressure components adopt high-strength nodular graphite casting iron QT500-7, durable and not to deform.

Stripping Unit
Removable stripping frames which allows easy and quick installation of tooling.
Frames can be manufactured to accept Centreline stripping tooling.
Three movement stripping frames system that allows the most intricate of products to be stripped effectively at high speed.
Lower pin frame and stripping pins are supplied as standard.
When stop using stripping function, just need to increase top frame, which is driven pneumatically.
Stripping frames are made of aeronautical aluminum alloy, high-strength and light-weight.
Top and bottom stripping frame can be adjusted transversely, facilitating load forme.
Delivery Section
Delivery front and side jogging, that will ensure a neat stack on the delivery table / pallet.
A sheet sampling system that allows a sheet to be easily removed from the pile during production to check cutting/creasing and registration to print.
Tab inserting unit to enable the products to be split into accurate batches. (Optional extra)
Quick pile change / non-stop running delivery facility.
