Slide hammers are used for easier penetration and extraction of soil samplers and probes. The Hammer consists of steel tubing that slides over a hardened steel rod, which is threaded to 58" NC to accommodate drive rods and extensions. Soft, baked-on rubber coating and ball-grip handle reduces shock to operator's hands and increases comfort.
