Application:

• The sluice valves are strictly designed in accordance with IS: 14846 and are used for water works purpose.
• Sluice valves are not suitable for throttling purposes. The control of flow is difficult because of the valves design, and the flow of fluid slapping against a partially open gate can cause extensive damage to the valve. Expect as specifically authorized, gate valves should not be used for thrilling.
