Sch. 40 and 80 SWB pressure fittings have been designed and manufactured to accommodate and perform as inline fittings in pressure systems. Standard fittings are tested and certified to the maximum operating pressures listed unless otherwise noted. (Dependant upon Mfg. of fitting)
Sch. 40: 8-18" 130PSI @ 73º F 20-24" 120PSI @ 73º F
Sch. 80: 8-18" 130PSI @ 73º F
Applications with temperatures above 73º F will result in a de-rating of the piping systems maximum internal pressure capabilities. Temperatures below 73º F will increase the tensile strength and decrease the impact strength of the piping system.
PVCCPVC products should not be tested or used to transport or store compressed gases.
