Light Soda Ash synthetically produced by ammonia-soda process (Solvay process) is subsequently mechanically compacted at high pressure to form briquettes, which then disintegratedm sieved and classified to produce specified uniform particle sized Dense Soda Ash. Applications

Dense Soda Ash is one of the most important basic industrial chemical and thus finds use in all kinds of glass manufacture like sheet glass, float glass, configured glass, container glass (bottles and tableware) etc. Dense Soda Ash is also a major component in production of lght bulbs, tubes, glass fibre for energy conservation, television screens, optical lenses etc. It also finds use in sillicate, ultramarine and bichromate. Dense Soda Ash is used as a leaching agent in Uranium mining / Industry and other industries.

Physical & Chemical Properties

Dense Soda Ash is a white, odorless, uniform particle sized product which is free from any dirt or foreign matter. It is chemically similar to Light Soda Ash but with highter bulk density of more than 1000 gms per litre. It is also hygroscoplc in nature and on prolonged exposure directly to the atmosphere can form cake/lum, but it's chemical properties does not change appreclably that is to say the total alkall content of the bag does not change.

Packaging

Available in 50 kg HDPE/PP bags and 1.1/1.3 MT HDPE/PP Jumbo bags with lamination / liner.

Storage

Dense Soda Ash should be stored in covered, cool and dry place and bags should not be stacked more than 15 layers height. It is advisable to have bin storage not more than 20-30 Tonmes capacity so as to prevent degeneration of sized particles.
