Sodium Petroleum Sulfonate

Sodium Petroleum Sulfonates are unique materials because of their dual function as surfactant & rust inhibitors. The polar nature of the sulfonate end of molecule function as a typical anionic surfactant, orienting itself with water of other polar materials while the hydrocarbon trail provides the bridge to the non-polar phase. Recommended for metal working fluids, anticorrosion compounds, lube additives, motor oil, fuel additives & textile processing oils.
