Properties

Kaolin’s chemical composition of Al2O3•2SiO2•2H2O. It is a crystalline material with a triclinic form in pseudo-hexagonal plate. It has a Mohs hardness of 1.0, a density of 2.8and a refractive index of 1.56. It is produced by the technique of iron removal, ultra-fining, calcining, grading, and other special process. Ultra fine particle size, high whiteness, low oil absorption, and good ductibility, dispersion and high hiding power, it has a significant barrier effect on infrared ray .
