eq15 consists of two parts: balance sensor and moisture sensor. Balance sensor consists of a special material, this material has two characteristics: moisture content and very stable relationship between the water potential, highly permeable. Good permeability to ensure its water potential and soil were measured simultaneous changes. Moisture sensor measure the water content of balance sensor at any time, because the relationship between water content and water potential is known, through the moisture can get soil water potential. Moisture sensor is fixed in the balance sensor, probe surroundings steady, thus avoiding the effects of soil density, stones and roots ensure the accuracy of soil water potential measurement.
Compared with traditional soil water potential meter
