Soldered Finned Tube

Kasera Fin Tube's solder dipped bonded finned tubes are edge tension wound to assure proper fin to tube contact before the solder is applied. Root soldering involves a special Kasera Fin Tube that uses enough solder to create the bond between the tube and the base of the fin thus avoiding bridging. Solder-coated finned tubing covers the entire fin and tube surface with the alloy. Lead-free and tin-lead alloys are available for all soldered products.The soldering process creates a fin attachment that is ideal for forming or bending.

The soldering process utilizes enough solder to bond the base of the fin to the tube. This leaves most of the fin surface clean of any solder coating, which may impede heat transfer capabilities.
