Solid Surface Material

• A non-porous, low-maintenance, elegant surfacing material that looks like stone, textured or glass materials, but cuts like wood and carves like stone
• A homogenous blend of acrylic or polyester resin with powdered bauxite filler and pigments.
• A material whose color and pattern goes all the way through its thickness.
• It can be 3-dimensionally shaped (by a process called thermoforming) which adds to the versatility, color and design flexibility of the product.
• It can be joined, shaped and finished inconspicuously to create seamless look. Solid surface sheets are seamed together versus grouted or welded.
