Soranib Tablets

Soranib 200 mg tablet is used in the treatment of liver cancer (hepatocellular carcinoma), advanced stage kidney cancer (advanced renal cell carcinoma) and thyroid cancer (differentiated thyroid carcinoma) when standard therapy has failed or is considered unsuitable.

How it works: Soranib 200 mg tablet belongs to the class of drugs called multikinase inhibitors. It slows down the rate of growth of cancer cells by blocking the action of an abnormal protein that signals cancer cells to multiply. It cuts down the blood supply to the cancer cells and stops their growth and proliferation.

Common side effects: Diarrhoea.
