Sorbitan Esters

Non Ionic Esters Lipophilic surfactants. Used for preparing water in oil solutions. The emulsifiers are reacted with Sorbitol and fatty acids of different group. Totally in this group there are 4 products based on Oelic Acid, Palmitic Acid, Stearic Acid, Lauric Acid. Each of them have various application such as the Oleic Acid based emulsifier finds application in Open cast and underground Mines for mining Coal, Diamond, Platinum etc. Low color Oelic based product with colour around 2 gardner has been developed successfully. Lauric Acid based finds application in Sugar, Defoamers, Leather chemicals, pharmaceuticals etc. Palmitic Acid based emulsifier in Sugar, Pharmaceuticals, Cosmetics etc. Stearic Acid based emulsifier finds application in Instant Dry Yeast, Cosmetics, Cream base applications etc. Technical Data Sheet can be shared on request. Further these groups of emulsifiers are also raw materials for producing Polysorbates. All of the above emulsifiers can be tailor made based upon customer specific needs.
