Special Purpose Ball Bearings

Special ball bearings are available from Tata Bearings to suit some specific applications. The basic design principle of these types of bearings are of Deep Groove Ball Bearings but many features have been added to take care of high angular misalignment, special purpose double lip seals, etc.

Tata Bearings offers its customers special ball bearings (SP & SEL Series) in different sizes for crank shaft applications, propellor shaft, all wheels, etc. The load capacities mentioned in the table are in accordance with ISO 76 & ISO 281:1997 (E). Some of these special bearings are available with extended inner race and some with extended outer race with special groove required for fitment. Tata Bearings production plan is flexible and can be tailored to address the specific requirements of customers.
