Hariom Steels is a supplier of Spectacle Pipe Flanges, known for their great strength and hardness, as well as excellent corrosion protection. However, the nitriding procedure of these Alloy 20 Spectacle Blind Flanges can reduce corrosion resistance and is generally recommended only in critical situations where the benefits outweigh the drawbacks. These flanges are used in a variety of applications, including cutlery, steam and gas turbine blades, kitchen tools, bolts, nuts, screws, pump and valve components, shafts, mine climbing rigs, dental and medical instruments, nozzles, hardened steel balls, and seats for oil well pumps. Due to its lower strength, it can handle some pressure that might otherwise contribute to element cracking. However, it is not completely resistant to environmental conditions such as aerated saltwater.
