Spelter Sockets

Zinc (spelter) sockets are efficient and permanent terminal attachments for wire rope. They are the most reliable of all terminal fittings . and when correctly attached, these standard drop-forged sockets are 100% effi­cient. They are recommended for all standing ropes and whenever service conditions are severe. Only trained and fully qualified person­nel should be permitted to make these connec­tions since it is a skill that- requires good facilities and a thorough understanding of the manufacturer's instructions.
