Spike Barrier Hump Type

The world class high security road spike barriers which is a two-in-System of Power Lifting Boom Barrier and Surface Fitted Tyre Slicer or Tyre Killers which adds unmatched security to any organization. ‘RSB’ is designed and manufactured to handle high volume of traffic and has a 100% duty cycle. ‘RSB’ is driven by two independent single phase torque motors with an operating speed of 1 second for the road spike and 2.5 to 6 seconds for the barrier arm. The spikes will only rise after the barrier has passed through a 30 degree on the closing cycle. The spike barrier is designed to offer protection in both directions on entry and exit. The compact design allows for the minimum of excavation work and simplifies the installation.

Special Operating Feature:

The spikes can be disabled electronically by means of reactivating at times when high security is not required and then can be used as normal access barrier.

• The “Road Spike” Barrier is available from 3m up to 5m. Custom size units can be accommodated. Prices are available on request.

• Barrier boom arms are manufactured from extruded aluminum tubing powder coated in white with red reflective tape.

• The barrier is equipped as standard with an anti pedestrian aluminum curtain suspended beneath the boom arm to prevent personal injury.

• Left and right hand configurations are available.

• The spikes lower before the boom arm opens. This ensures a safe passage for the vehicle to pass through.
