The leaves are free from over matured leaves, hard and over matured stacks, roots, stumps, grass, extraneous leaves and damaged caused by insects or diseases. The dehydrated spinach leaves are prepared after thorough washing including adequate removal of toxic spray and dust residues, cutting into shreds of desired sizes.

The dehydrated spinach leaves is of green colour typical of the variety and is free from any added artificial colouring matter.
