Splines and Keyways

We are involved in offering a range of Splines & Keyways to the customers. Precision is utmost important in shaping and broaching operations, and our facility is well-equipped to handle these requirements. We offer two related services: shaping and broaching, each with similar properties but slightly different capacities. For shaping, we can cut a width from 1/16" to 3/8", with a depth of 0.032" to 0.5" and a length up to 6". If the customer chooses our broaching service, we offer a width capacity from 0.063" up to 1", with a depth from 0.031" to 0.5" and a maximum length of 5". Precision Gears, Inc. also stocks a large variety of broach bars for your internal spline needs.

We can work with a wide variety of metals including alloy steel, aluminium, carbon steel and ductile iron, as well as plastics, phenolics and Delrin. Our products are used in machinery, medical, optical, packaging, construction and many more.
