INDIVIDUALS WHO PREFER OUR SPLIT RAIL FENCE OFTEN VALUE ITS RUSTIC SIMPLICITY AND OPEN DESIGN.
Split rail fencing is often used to define property lines and establish boundaries on homesites with larger acreage as it is a more economical choice than solid wood, vinyl or ornamental iron. Plus, the visibility split rail affords will not detract from site lines and expansive views. Split rail is also a preferred style for owners of horse farms and small ranches.
Split rail fencing will work in traditional suburban neighborhoods as well, and are sometimes the preferred choice of neighborhood associations due to the high visibility these fences provide. Pet owners can add welded wire mesh to assist in maintaining an enclosed yard.
Split rail fences are generally constructed using 2 or 3 rails, and occasionally 4. The 2-rail fence style is approximately 36" high and the 3-rail fence is approximately 48" high as measured to the top of the rail. While less common, the 4-rail fence is approximately 60" high.
Choose split rail fencing for a rustic look that provides wide visibility and sturdy functionality. All Long® Fence split rail fences are custom built to your specifications and carry a one-year guarantee.
