Spring Loaded Roller

Spring loaded roller is capable of applying fixed load of 50N (5 Kgs) as per the standard when pressed. Caltech’s compact spring loaded roller can be held by hand firmly, easily pressed to get desired load and reduce human errors for applying constant pressure to provide best dust test results. Calibration adjustment is possible simply by adjusting nut. One single broad roller spring loaded roller along with dust test kit helps to accurately determine size and particle size of dust particles on steel surfaces prior to painting. Assure equal pressure for the complete tape to get best results. No maintenance required for this instrument.

Use of spring loaded roller assist to improve adhesion of coating and premature failure of coating. Dust on blast cleaned steel surfaces may reduce the adhesion of applied coatings and by absorbing moisture may promote the corrosion of the blast cleaned steel.
