Jabara type: Metallic spaced gimps or covered yarn These are gimped yarns where the metallic does not fully cover (space twisted) the viscose/ rayon core yarn, which is visible in between the metallic wrapping thread to create a round looking yarn. Heavy metal yarn It contains 5% pure silver, 62% copper, 23% 76d rayon or 76d polyester and 10% DG fast guilding. Used extensively for rich embroidery and weaving. Colours are available on cones of 125 grams net and / or 250 grams net weight yarn. Dyeability Round yarn is not resistant to piece dyeing.
