Stacker Crane

Stacker Cranes are the work horses of the system that provide and take delivery from the storage racks. Our Stacker cranes operate at high speed with low noise and minimum vibration of the structure.

Stacker Cranes travel on the floor rail and maintain vertical state by the top guide rail, while the lift carriage travels along the mast at the same time. When the stacker crane has been positioned at the desired storage location, the shuttle extends and retracts to pick up loads.

The stacker crane is usually operated automatically by the system computer but has provisions for manual intervention. Our stacker cranes are operated by inverters for precisely controlled acceleration or deceleration. The positioning accuracy is maintained by laser guidance which provides accurate position every time despite of wheel wear, wheel alignment or track conditions.
